Some things to think about before you get permanent makeup: aspirin, vit. E, St. Johns Wart, fish oil, alcohol, ginseng, and some health drinks can cause the blood to thin, and you might be more likely to bleed. Please refrain from using these things for a week before your procedure. A little blood is expected, but I make an opening in your skin and implant color. If you bleed out of that opening, you might loose some of that color. So we want to minimize bleeding. Please check with your Doctor to see if your medicines are blood thinners. Ask him/her if you can go off of that medicine a week before your procedure. If you are going to have your lips done, and have ever had a cold sore (even one), you will need to get a prescription from your doctor
Eyeliner:
Have someone drive you home. Expect light to moderate swelling and redness. Ice packs or cold tea bags (boiled and refrigerated) may be used the day of and the day after the procedure. Use WHITE PETROLATUM (lightly glossed) on the treated area for 3 to 5 days. You can rinse with water and pat dry. Use a new mascara after 5 days.
Eyebrows:
Expect slight swelling, thickness and/or redness for 1 to 2 days. Keep lightly glossed with WHITE PETROLATUM for 3 to 5 days. Rinse with water pat dry.
Full lip color:
Expect swelling, usually 1 to 2 days following the procedure. IMPORTANT: apply ice for the first 2 hours (on and off). If you want, you can continue to apply ice for the first 24 hours (on and off). Put a cloth between the ice and your skin to prevent frostbite. Apply WHITE PETROLATUM or LIPROTEK for at least 7 days, then chapstick or gloss with sunscreen of SPF 30. After the procedure, the lips look too dark, as the skin sloughs off the color looks too light. It may look as if you have no color, however when your lips have healed completely, the color returns. Two or three applications may be required to achieve the desired result (touchups in the first three months are included in your original fee). It is not uncommon to lose 40% to 50% of your color on the first application. The skin on your lips is like no other skin on your body, and may have a dry feeling for a few months.
Remember:
Keep moist with White petrolatum or Liprotek (ONLY).
Put a damp cloth between the ice and your skin.
No vigorous exercise, gardening or heavy cleaning for 24 hours (dirt and dust can give you an infection). Wash your hands. Wash your hands. Wash your hands.
Do not use Retin-A, Glycolic acids, Peroxide or neosporin for 7 days.
Do not expose to the SUN or tanning beds (cover or use sunblock).
Avoid facials, swimming and whirlpools for one week.
Do not dye or tweeze eyebrows for one week before or after brow procedure.
The density of color will fluctuate during the healing process.
All procedures require more than one visit/treatment, and will need a color boost in 1 to 9 years, depending on your age, lifestyle, medications and the colors used. Failure to follow post procedure instructions may result in loss or discoloration of pigments used in your new permanent makeup.

Before you get your permanent makeup
to prevent a break out. Your doctor will choose the right one for you (some generics are available), and you need to take it 2 days before and 5 days after your procedure. You will need a touch up, so get enough for 2 procedures (14 days).
