I am still gathering information from all sources. When I have a full understanding of all methods and all products, I will teach. When I teach, it will be without respect to any brand, technique, group or school of thought.
Tell your permanent makeup story
I will be collecting personal stories of the PMU journey. They will not be edited for content, but I may suggest grammar, spelling and length corrections before publication. I reserve the right to refuse any story.
This invitation is open to all techniques and philosophies. From the technicion, to the society leaders to the manufacturers. Here are some suggestions as to content:
What you did for a living before PMU? How old were you when you started? Was your training good? Tell us about it. How long before you felt comfortable with your craft? How long before you felt that you were good? What obstacles stood in your way? What trials did you overcome? What helped you to succeed? What Kind of pigments do/did you use? What technique do use? Why did you choose that type of pigment and technique? (Please don't make this a sales pitch for any brand). If you had it to do over, what would you do differently? How has PMU changed your life? How you feel about yourself? Your family, your marriage?
Please talk about you, your journey. Not an advertisement for your business, you as a person. How difficult has it been finanially? Are you happy doing what you are doing? Do you feel that you are a better person for all of your associations? These are just some ideas to get you started. It can be a paragraph or a couple of pages. My goal is to have one thing that includes all of us. All the PMU family. You may not get along with some of your cousins, grandma might be crazy, but we are like a big family.
